New Vikings Head Coach invited local team beat writers to a lunch/film session Thursday at Winter Park.
The fact that the event was reported by the new Vikings Public Relations Twitter account (@VikingsPR) should be lost on no one.
The act was deliberate, strategic, and genius.
Three things that are as old as time collide: human debate, human competition, and the Vikings looking for a new starting QB.
The debate will ensue on the Purple FTW! Podcast on Saturday. I’ll have a few in studio guests and we’ll go through the Bracket round by round until there’s only one man left standing who will lead the Minnesota Vikings to the promised land in 2014. #GoalGlendale #AllInWithZim
Seedings were based on likelihood of the player getting the nod. Hence, the embattled Christian Ponder is a #1 Seed (cause he’ll unfortunately be around) while the uber talented Teddy Bridgewater is only a #7 Seed (as TB will likely be gone by the time the Vikings draft). The Field is comprised of current Vikings QBs under contract (only Ponder), free agents, draftees, and a few randoms for LOLs. Although one could make a case Cordarrelle is the most talented QB on the team currently.
Should be fun! If it’s not an unmitigated disaster, the results will be on iTunes, our Youtube Channel, and the Blawg on next week.

The Wife and I attended a friend’s birthday party last night.
